Under Timothy's Law the following disorders are classified as biologically based mental illness:

• Schizophrenia/psychotic disorder
• Major depression
• Bipolar disorder
• Delusional disorders
• Panic Disorder
• Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
• Bulimia
• Anorexia
