Child Healthcare Institute Sukkur was established at Sukkur with the help of Korea at a cost of $57.274 million. The hospital is established over 27 acres at Airport Road Sukkur. After completion the hospital was handed over to Sindh Institute of Child Health and Neonatology. Child Healthcare Institute Hospital comprises a Neonatal Care Unit (NICU), Emergency Unit, Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Paediatric Surgeries, Occupational Therapy department, and other services.
Background
The Republic of Korea pledge the soft loan of the 46 million Dolar soft loan under its EXIM bank. After completion the hospital is providing medical care to patients from different parts of Northern Sindh, including Sukkur, Ghotki, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashmore and adjoining areas.
